Design systems jobs is an MCP server too. Add it to an AI assistant such as Claude and the assistant can search the board, read a job's summary and count what is open, in the middle of a conversation, without you copying anything across. It only reads, and it needs no account and no key.
The address
https://designsystems.jobs/mcp
Any MCP client that supports remote servers takes this address as it is. Check it is exactly this one before you add it.
Add it to your assistant
Claude (claude.ai and the apps): Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector. Name it Design systems jobs and paste the address.
Claude Code: run this once in a terminal.
claude mcp add --transport http designsystems-jobs https://designsystems.jobs/mcp
Cursor: add to Cursor, which opens Cursor and asks you to confirm.
VS Code: add to VS Code, which opens VS Code and asks you to confirm.
Anything else that reads a JSON configuration:
{
"mcpServers": {
"designsystems-jobs": {
"type": "http",
"url": "https://designsystems.jobs/mcp"
}
}
}
What it can do
- search_jobs finds open jobs by words and by the home page's filters — discipline, role, seniority, type, location and country — newest first, and closed ones too when asked.
- get_job reads one job: its details, the salary when the company states it, the summary (what you'd do, what they're looking for, nice to have, good to know), and the links to the job here and to apply.
- board_stats counts what is open, under every value of every filter.
Things to ask
- Find remote senior design systems engineer roles in Europe.
- What does the PayPal director role ask for, and what does it pay?
- How many design systems jobs are open in Germany right now?
- Which staff-level roles were posted this week?
- Compare the two newest design systems lead roles.
What it does not do
It only reads. It cannot apply for you, save a job, sign you up for the digest or post a job. It returns what this site already shows, from public listings, and nothing about you: there is no sign-in, and a request is logged only as the web server logs any page. The summaries are written by an AI model and can shorten things, so read the company's original posting before you apply — see the disclaimer.
