Senior Product Manager, Design Systems at Vanta, sitting within the Platform organisation. Owns the product strategy and roadmap for how every team builds Vanta's interface. First dedicated Design Systems PM role, shaping the function itself as well as the roadmap.
What you'll do
- Own the vision and roadmap for the frontend, spanning the design system and front-end platform
- Evolve the design system from a component library into composable building blocks with consistent APIs, including AI and LLM-driven experiences
- Drive accessibility and internationalization programs to committed milestones, including localization and accessibility standards
- Partner with the AI team to enable agentic patterns for next-generation product experiences
- Run go-to-market and adoption for design-system changes, and lead quality and paper-cuts triage
- Partner with engineering and design leads as a triad to prioritise highest-impact work
- Look 12 to 18 months ahead at how the design system and platform scale, including AI-native use
What we're looking for
- 4-8+ years product management experience owning a design system, frontend platform, or developer/design experience serving many teams
- Craft and taste at scale, with a clear point of view on quality and credibility with senior leaders
- Builder's mindset, hands-on with prototypes and demos using the same component building blocks
- Ability to collaborate horizontally and build trust as an internal platform partner
- Systems thinking across components, tokens, patterns, and front-end infrastructure
- Ability to translate front-end and design-system investment into business value for leadership
- Openness to using AI to amplify skills, with curiosity and sound judgment
