Sinch seeks a Senior Product Designer to drive the next generation of its design system infrastructure. The role redefines visual language, layout principles, and patterns for an AI-assisted product development lifecycle, reporting to the Director, Product Design.
What you'll do
- Drive vision and architecture for an AI-ready design system
- Collaborate with central Brand team on consistent brand representation
- Translate design patterns into structured .md guidelines for engineers and AI-agents
- Collaborate with design leadership to establish long-term design system roadmap
- Build, test, and ship scalable design system tooling with product and engineering partners
- Partner with product teams globally, providing tools, templates, and guidance
- Ensure accessibility, usability, and visual quality standards are baked into system architecture
- Experiment with and pioneer new AI-assisted design workflows
What we're looking for
- Significant experience as Design Systems Designer or Senior Product Designer on multi-product systems at scale
- Deep understanding of design system architecture, token strategies, component lifecycles
- Experience in generative AI frameworks, prompting structures, structured markdown
- Strong strategic and visionary mindset, proven direction-setting with leaders
- Excellent collaboration and advocacy skills, presenting to diverse teams
- Outstanding craft and execution skills, portfolio showing systematic thinking
- Strong understanding of design-to-code translation (HTML/CSS, React, Tokens)
- Comfort conducting user research and discovery as part of a product trio
