Senior UX Designer role at SAP owning the design system for Concur Mobile across iOS and Android. Sits close to the Concur product team, building foundational components, resolving divergent patterns, and aligning mobile design with enterprise standards.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain the Concur Mobile design system as single source of truth
- Specify components and interaction patterns in depth, including accessibility and usage guidance
- Design complex features inside the Concur app
- Reconcile diverging patterns across teams and align with enterprise design standards
- Partner with mobile engineers on implementation, reviews and feasibility discussions
- Ensure accessibility standards for iOS and Android across the system
- Design AI-powered features with focus on trust, transparency and explainability
- Use AI-assisted prototyping and automation in own workflow
- Evaluate AI-generated content and apply context engineering principles
- Help the broader design team build fluency with AI tools
- Enable product designers to use the system through documentation and training
- Use quantitative and qualitative feedback to drive iteration on components and tooling
- Mentor T1 and T2 designers through documentation rigor and craft quality
What we're looking for
- Portfolio demonstrating design system ownership and mobile product design
- Proven experience building and maintaining enterprise design systems
- Deep knowledge of iOS and Android platform conventions
- Experience designing AI-powered product experiences
- Strong creative thinking and complex problem-solving skills
- Learning agility across mobile platforms, AI and design tooling
- Accessibility expertise for mobile design
- Advanced Figma proficiency: component architecture, variables, tokens, multi-theme systems
- Effective communicator across engineers, product managers and stakeholders
- Comfortable in engineering conversations about mobile implementation
- AI fluency and hands-on experience integrating AI tools into workflow
Nice to have
- Experience aligning a product-level design system to an enterprise design language
- Familiarity with responsible AI principles and context engineering
- Experience evaluating and improving AI output quality
- Usability testing experience applied to design system components
- Exposure to information architecture for enterprise mobile products
