Salesforce is hiring a Senior/Lead Product Designer for its Design Systems team, evolving an AI-first design system across the product suite. The role owns design guidelines, standards, and tooling that ensure consistency, usability, and accessibility across Salesforce applications.
What you'll do
- Lead the creation and maintenance of the next-gen design system, tools, and AI products
- Contribute quality knowledge to the design system, readable by humans and machines
- Define and document design guidelines, best practices, and standards
- Evolve the visual language and ease of use of Salesforce UI/UX
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, writers, and engineers to integrate the design system into workflows
- Partner with UX researchers to validate design decisions through testing and feedback
- Mentor and coach junior designers
- Advocate for accessibility and inclusivity within the design system
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in design systems
What we're looking for
- Systems designer knowledgeable in leveraging and training AI
- Comfortable in both code and Figma, working as a design engineer
- Expert visual design skills with attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or equivalent practical experience
- 7+ years of experience as a Product Designer focused on design systems and UX/UI design
- Portfolio showing strength in design systems, visual design, interaction design, and AI patterns
