A Pavago client is hiring a Product Designer to own the end-to-end product design experience across web and mobile applications. The role sits within a SaaS product team, working closely with product managers, engineers and leadership to improve usability, engagement and customer experience.
What you'll do
- Conduct user interviews, usability testing and behavioural analysis
- Translate insights into personas, journey maps, user flows and product recommendations
- Analyse product behaviour using tools like Mixpanel and Amplitude
- Design wireframes, interactive prototypes and high-fidelity product interfaces
- Create responsive experiences across web and mobile
- Build and maintain design systems, component libraries and UI standards
- Ensure consistency across all product surfaces and experiences
- Design experiences aligned with WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards
- Ensure cross-device usability, responsive experiences and inclusive design
- Ensure frictionless navigation
- Run A/B tests across user flows, UI variations and interactions
- Use performance insights to improve engagement, reduce friction and increase conversions
- Use performance insights to improve retention
- Work closely with product managers, engineers and QA teams
- Deliver developer-ready assets using Figma Dev Mode and Zeplin
What we're looking for
- 2+ years of product design or UX/UI design experience
- Strong portfolio demonstrating UX thinking, product problem-solving and high-quality UI execution
- Experience with user flows, wireframes, prototypes, responsive design and design systems
- Strong understanding of UX principles, accessibility, usability testing and product design workflows
Nice to have
- Experience designing SaaS platforms, consumer applications or enterprise tools
- Familiarity with large-scale design systems
- Familiarity with analytics tools such as Mixpanel and Amplitude
- Basic front-end understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
