Product Designer - UX/UI & Design Systems (Remote)

A Pavago client is hiring a Product Designer to own the end-to-end product design experience across web and mobile applications. The role sits within a SaaS product team, working closely with product managers, engineers and leadership to improve usability, engagement and customer experience.

What you'll do

  • Conduct user interviews, usability testing and behavioural analysis
  • Translate insights into personas, journey maps, user flows and product recommendations
  • Analyse product behaviour using tools like Mixpanel and Amplitude
  • Design wireframes, interactive prototypes and high-fidelity product interfaces
  • Create responsive experiences across web and mobile
  • Build and maintain design systems, component libraries and UI standards
  • Ensure consistency across all product surfaces and experiences
  • Design experiences aligned with WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards
  • Ensure cross-device usability, responsive experiences and inclusive design
  • Ensure frictionless navigation
  • Run A/B tests across user flows, UI variations and interactions
  • Use performance insights to improve engagement, reduce friction and increase conversions
  • Use performance insights to improve retention
  • Work closely with product managers, engineers and QA teams
  • Deliver developer-ready assets using Figma Dev Mode and Zeplin

What we're looking for

  • 2+ years of product design or UX/UI design experience
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating UX thinking, product problem-solving and high-quality UI execution
  • Experience with user flows, wireframes, prototypes, responsive design and design systems
  • Strong understanding of UX principles, accessibility, usability testing and product design workflows

Nice to have

  • Experience designing SaaS platforms, consumer applications or enterprise tools
  • Familiarity with large-scale design systems
  • Familiarity with analytics tools such as Mixpanel and Amplitude
  • Basic front-end understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
