Senior Product Designer specialising in Design Systems at Order.co, scaling and evolving the design system across the platform. Partners closely with Product Design, Engineering, and Product Management to modernise legacy experiences and reusable patterns.
What you'll do
- Scale and evolve the design system, focusing on high-traffic legacy experiences
- Audit existing experiences for component gaps, inconsistencies, and consolidation opportunities
- Partner with engineers to create scalable, accessible, production-ready components
- Champion usability, accessibility, consistency, and quality across the product
- Establish and communicate design system principles and decisions across the organisation
- Explore AI-enabled workflows for component discovery, documentation, quality checks, and pattern generation
- Reduce duplication and improve efficiency across design and engineering
- Measure and improve system adoption, usability, and effectiveness
What we're looking for
- 4–7 years of product design experience, including significant design system experience
- Proven experience building, scaling, or evolving a design system
- Strong expertise in component-based design and reusable interaction patterns
- Advanced Figma skills and familiarity with modern design system workflows
- Strong understanding of how design systems translate into production code
- Experience partnering with engineers, navigating flexibility, consistency, and scalability tradeoffs
- Hands-on experience with AI tools and curiosity about their design system application
- Excellent visual, interaction, communication, and systems-thinking skills
- Curiosity about AI's impact on product design and design systems
- Portfolio demonstrating meaningful design system work

- Fintech and/or ecommerce experience
