Lead Product Designer role at OpenTable, scaling the OTKit design system and Table Management System platform. Reports to the Design Systems leader, maturing design system capabilities while integrating responsible AI-powered workflows.
What you'll do
- Shape and execute strategic roadmap for OTKit and design systems practice
- Lead end-to-end product design for key TMS platform areas
- Explore, test, and implement responsible AI workflows
- Drive design system adoption and governance
- Partner with engineering, product, research, and data teams
- Establish feedback mechanisms and provide guidance on design quality
What we're looking for
- 5+ years product design experience with digital products, platforms, or complex systems
- Track record leading or contributing to a multi-platform design system
- Experience designing responsive web and native platforms (iOS and Android)
- Experience shaping AI-powered products or workflows
- Experience designing B2B, operational, hospitality, or data-dense web platforms
Nice to have
- Experience scaling a design system 0 to 1 or dual-market/international frameworks
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, modern web UI frameworks)
- Experience establishing responsible AI guidelines or governance
- Background or passion in restaurant, hospitality, or dining industry
- Experience mentoring product designers
