Senior Product Designer role on OLX's Design System team, working across Real Estate products. Owns evolving the design system and the contribution model that lets other tribes propose and ship components without fragmenting consistency.
What you'll do
- Design and evolve reusable components, patterns and foundations within the design system
- Define component behaviour, states and variants, working with engineering to ship them
- Run and improve the contribution model for proposing and shipping components
- Support design work from problem framing through documentation and handover
- Create documentation and specifications covering variants, edge cases and usage guidance
- Collaborate with engineers on token strategy and the Figma-to-production-code link
- Resolve conflicts between a tribe's local need and the system's long-term coherence
- Work with product design teams to identify gaps and embed systems thinking
- Use AI-assisted tooling from research through prototyping and component definition
- Contribute to making the system well-structured for AI-assisted workflows
- Know when to override AI output with design judgement and explain why
What we're looking for
- Proven experience designing and maintaining a design system at scale
- Experience running or contributing to a contribution model
- Strong technical fluency translating design decisions into code
- Sharp judgement on trade-offs between consistency and exceptions
- Strong communication skills to justify decisions to unaligned stakeholders
- Comfort with AI-assisted tools and interest in applying them practically
- Portfolio demonstrating product and systems thinking with shipped impact
- Experience in Figma including component libraries, variables and tokens
- Experience with built or coded prototypes
- Experience working closely with engineers to deliver scalable outcomes
- Experience or strong interest in AI-assisted design or development workflows
