Senior Product Designer role within OLX's Design System team, working across Real Estate products. Owns evolution of the design system spanning web and app, serving multiple tribes via a contribution model.
What you'll do
- Design and evolve reusable components, patterns and foundations within the design system
- Define component behaviour, states and variants with engineering
- Run and improve the contribution model for designers outside the core pod
- Support design work from problem framing through documentation and handover
- Create clear documentation and specifications covering variants, edge cases and usage
- Collaborate with engineers on token strategy and Figma-to-code linkage
- Resolve conflicts between a tribe's local need and system coherence
- Work with product design teams to identify gaps and embed systems thinking
- Use AI-assisted tooling across research, prototyping and component definition
- Contribute to making the system structured for AI-assisted workflows
- Know when to override AI output with design judgment and explain why
What we're looking for
- Proven experience designing and maintaining a design system at scale
- Experience running or contributing to a contribution model
- Strong technical fluency translating decisions into code
- Sharp judgment on consistency versus exception trade-offs
- Strong communication skills justifying design system decisions to stakeholders
- Comfort with AI-assisted tools and interest in applying them practically
- Portfolio demonstrating product and systems thinking with shipped impact
- Experience with Figma component libraries, variables and tokens
- Experience with built or coded prototypes
- Experience working closely with engineers on scalable outcomes
- Experience or strong interest in AI-assisted design or development workflows
