Design System Designer for Agentic OKDS at OKX, the design intelligence infrastructure connecting human intent and AI-generated output. Owns work across Foundations, Components, and Templates + AI Tooling, with primary assignment shifting based on team needs.
What you'll do
- Own scoped initiatives across Foundations, Components, or Templates + AI Tooling from research through iteration
- Develop and maintain foundation standards and token architecture for color, spacing, radius, themes, modes, platform variation
- Design and evolve OKDS core components and reusable business components with naming, variants, states, metadata, composition rules
- Build reusable template systems and AI-readable guidance, contribute to tooling infrastructure and validation workflows
- Partner with engineers to align design intent, platform behavior, component APIs, and accessibility across Web, iOS, Android
- Prototype and improve AI-assisted workflows for template generation, component discovery, variant generation, specification, quality review
- Drive adoption with product teams through consultation, enablement, migration support, and feedback loops
- Apply quality acceptance criteria covering interaction states, responsive behavior, accessibility, compliance, implementation-ready handoff
- Plan and deliver work transparently, manage dependencies, and track outcomes such as reuse and adoption
What we're looking for
- Experience delivering reusable design-system components, patterns, or foundations in a complex digital-product environment
- Strong Figma capability including component properties, variables, modes, libraries, scalable file organization
- Working knowledge across design-system foundations, component architecture, and template systems
- Strong craft under ambiguity: explore, prototype, test, refine detailed interaction and visual behavior
- Design-engineering fluency discussing implementation constraints, states, APIs, platform differences
- Adoption mindset: investigate user needs, make standards practical, follow through to successful use
- Practical capability with AI-assisted design and development workflows and judgment to assess tooling
- Clear written and verbal communication and constructive collaboration
- Reliable operational ownership: scope work, communicate progress and risks, manage dependencies
- Product and business awareness connecting design-system choices to speed, quality, risk, reuse
- Working knowledge of accessibility, compliance, responsive behavior, complete global-state design
Nice to have
- Experience designing for Fintech, Investment platforms, or Crypto products
- Experience working with teams across offices and timezones
- Understanding of React framework for Front End development
