Product Designer, Design Systems role at New Zealand Trade and Enterprise, working on the myNZTE digital platform. Sits within design, development and product teams, owning the design system that shapes NZTE's customer-facing digital products.
What you'll do
- Own and evolve NZTE's design system, including reusable components, patterns and documentation
- Improve consistency, accessibility and quality across digital products
- Partner with product and technology teams to deliver design solutions to a high standard
- Explore emerging technologies and help shape how AI can be incorporated into design practice
What we're looking for
- Strong UI design capability and experience designing within or contributing to design systems
- Proficiency in Figma, comfortable creating scalable component libraries and design patterns
- Systems thinking, balancing customer needs, business goals and platform consistency
- Curiosity about AI, emerging technologies and the future of digital design
