UI Engineer role in Netflix's Warsaw office, within Productivity Engineering under the Platform organisation. Owns Hawkins Professional, the enterprise design system supporting 700+ apps, 1,600 engineers and 60 designers.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain a scalable design system for consistent, accessible, high-performance UX
- Extend impact beyond frontend via foundational scripts, build processes and CI workflows
- Translate Figma designs into robust, reusable UI components with system designers
- Support engineering teams, improve documentation and establish usage guidelines to drive adoption
- Gather feedback to inform ongoing design system improvements
- Follow industry trends and evolve design system tooling, scalability and innovation
- Leverage GenAI and prompt engineering to build intelligent agents, automation and migration tools
What we're looking for
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, HTML/CSS and related technologies
- Experience building and maintaining UI component libraries
- Experience with component architecture, APIs and composition patterns
- Experience collaborating with design teams using Figma workflows
- Ability to advocate for reducing developer overhead and encourage contributions
