Senior Product Designer (Design System) role at Moniepoint, owning component libraries, interaction models and cross-platform design consistency. Sits at the bridge between design and engineering, ensuring visual assets translate into clean, reusable, accessible code.
What you'll do
- Maintain high standard for layout, typography, colour, spacing and visual hierarchy across reusable elements
- Design, build and maintain component libraries that scale across products
- Define interactive behaviours and state transitions for components
- Structure and maintain design tokens to drive consistency between design and code
- Organise variants, properties and components within Figma library
- Partner with engineering teams across Web, React, Flutter, Android and iOS
- Create documentation and usage guidelines outlining component use
What we're looking for
- Extensive experience building, scaling and maintaining production-ready design systems
- Deep understanding of Web, iOS and Android platform constraints
- Portfolio demonstrating systems-thinking design decisions across products
- Strong familiarity with how developers inspect and build components in code
- Advanced Figma proficiency including libraries, auto-layout, variants, variables, publication
- Solid grasp of accessibility standards (WCAG), contrast requirements, inclusive design
- Familiarity with component-driven frameworks (React, Flutter) and Atomic Design methodology
- Excellent writing and presentation skills for documentation and executive updates
