Fantasy is hiring a freelance mid to senior designer to work across web and mobile for clients spanning automotive, travel, AI and voice interfaces. The role sits within Fantasy's design team, owning design systems work alongside UX and conceptual designers on multiple concurrent projects.
What you'll do
- Design visually compelling, high-functioning interfaces for web and mobile products
- Build and maintain scalable, accessible, expressive design systems
- Maintain visual consistency using Figma and component libraries
- Create and document micro-interactions and UI motion briefs
- Partner with UX and conceptual designers on wireframes and navigation frameworks
- Translate client goals into research-backed design solutions
- Represent design in cross-functional meetings
- Help shape how people interact with AI

- 4+ years in design industry, focused on human-centred digital products
- Strong portfolio spanning web and mobile products
- Deep expertise in design systems: structure, scalability, documentation
- Comfort managing multiple workflows and projects simultaneously
- Strong command of UI best practices, layout and interaction design
- Solid grasp of accessibility standards and inclusive design
- Skilled at turning UX wireframes into production-ready UI
- Highly skilled in Figma, including shared libraries, plugins and design system components
- Sharp eye for detail and strong design instincts
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
