Design Systems Engineer role at DocuWare, owning the end-to-end design system pipeline from Figma tokens to production. Sits at the intersection of design and engineering, responsible for the system all product teams build on.
What you'll do
- Own the design token pipeline, keeping Figma as single source of truth
- Manage primitive, semantic and component token layers plus naming conventions
- Control component variants and APIs
- Run design-to-code automation, extracting tokens and component context from Figma
- Maintain a CI-integrated pipeline with baseline management and PR gating
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on Azure cloud infrastructure
- Lead technical migrations of components and tokens
What we're looking for
- Strong TypeScript and modern frontend skills
- Experience with tooling like Tokens Studio, W3C DTCG or Style Dictionary
- Figma fluency with design systems, variables/collections and component libraries
- CI/CD and cloud delivery experience
- Experience hosting build artefacts and tooling
Nice to have
- Azure experience (Static Web Apps, Container Apps, Blob Storage, Entra ID)
