Head of Design Systems role in the Brand and Design team at Doctolib. Owns Oxygen, the company's design system, ensuring every product surface is built on a consistent, high-quality design foundation across an AI-first development environment.
What you'll do
- Set multi-year vision and roadmap for Oxygen, connecting engineering, design, and brand teams
- Translate system health into business impact
- Own investment strategy for teams, tools, and governance
- Establish cross-functional governance across Design, Product, Engineering, and Brand teams
- Define contribution models, change management processes, and standards
- Own design output quality, ensuring AI-generated interfaces are coherent, consistent, and on-brand
- Define and drive cross-organizational adoption
- Measure adoption rate, component coverage, and contribution velocity
- Connect metrics to product team speed and quality
- Manage and grow a team of designers, product people and engineers
- Set career paths and a high bar for craft
- Hire for the roles the system needs next
What we're looking for
- 10+ years experience in product design or design systems
- Proven track record scaling a mature, complex system across multiple product teams
- Engineering fluency, understanding design system technical architecture
- Understanding of how platform teams operate
- Knowledge of AI-first software engineering best practices for design systems
- Senior stakeholder management, negotiating priorities with Director-level leadership
- Experience driving change management at scale across large, distributed organizations
- Data-informed, outcome-oriented approach to measuring system health
- Experience connecting metrics to product quality and business outcomes
- Experience in a regulated, enterprise, or healthcare-adjacent context
- Knowledge of accessibility (WCAG), localization (i18n, RTL), multi-market constraints
- Fluent in English

- Experience owning large-scale change management programs across cross-functional organizations
- Additional European languages such as French, German, or Italian
