Product Manager role on Chime's AI & App Experience (AAX) team, focused on design systems. Owns product strategy and execution for design-system capabilities spanning product, design, and engineering, improving app experience quality and build speed.
What you'll do
- Own product vision, strategy, and roadmap for design-system capabilities within AAX
- Partner with Design and Engineering to evolve shared components, patterns, tooling, and infrastructure
- Identify opportunities to improve discovery, adoption, and contribution to the design system
- Develop understanding of internal product builders' needs and translate into product priorities
- Drive alignment across product areas on shared platform versus individual product tradeoffs
- Establish success measures for the design system using quantitative and qualitative signals
- Help define how emerging AI capabilities can improve design and build of app experiences
What we're looking for
- 8+ years of experience as a Product Manager
- Experience owning complex products, platforms, or internal systems from strategy through execution
- Experience with design systems, developer platforms, UI frameworks, or shared product infrastructure
- Track record translating ambiguous cross-functional problems into clear product strategy and roadmap
- Experience partnering with Product Design and Engineering with technical and design fluency
- Experience driving adoption of a shared product or platform across multiple teams
- Experience using data, research, and user feedback to prioritise investments and assess value
- Experience balancing quality, consistency, scale, and speed with near-term delivery and durable foundations
