Senior Product Designer (UI) role within Bupa's multi-disciplinary experience design team. Owns visual design, interaction and the Anatomy design system across digital products, working closely with the Lead Product Designer, engineers and product teams.
What you'll do
- Design and improve reusable components, patterns and foundations across Figma
- Apply shared foundations and tokens, working with engineering to align design and code
- Work with engineers to define component behaviour, requirements and acceptance criteria
- Review implementations across responsive behaviour, interaction, content and accessibility
- Create and maintain clear guidance covering usage, behaviour, content and accessibility
- Turn recurring questions and feedback into reusable guidance, examples and demonstrations
- Mentor designers and contributors in systems thinking, reusable design and inclusive practice
- Investigate requests and distinguish shared system needs from product-specific requirements
- Build strong relationships across Design, Product and Engineering to support adoption
What we're looking for
- Strong product design experience with reusable components, patterns and design systems
- Strong systems thinking, turning complex needs into simple, scalable solutions
- Advanced Figma skills across components, variants, Auto Layout, variables and libraries
- Experience with Zeroheight, Storybook, Figma Code Connect or similar design-system tooling
- Strong understanding of design foundations, responsive design and accessibility
- Ability to work effectively with engineers, understanding how designs translate into code
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, documenting decisions, influencing, mentoring
- Familiarity with React component libraries or CMS platforms such as Sitecore
