Senior Product Manager, Manufacturing and Industrial Design Systems

Anduril Industries

Job expired

Senior Product Manager role at Anduril, within the ArsenalOS/ProdOS team, owning the digital backbone for manufacturing and industrial engineering. Responsible for all pre-assembly workflows covering virtual builds, process simulation, model-based definition and factory layout.

What you'll do

  • Design and implement a connected pre-operations software ecosystem spanning PLM, work instructions, process/plant planning, simulation and MES integration
  • Digitize workflows for virtual builds, simulations, process validation and DFM analysis
  • Enable model-based data continuity so PMI, GD&T and design intent flow from CAD through process planning to execution
  • Deploy configurable integrations between CAD, PLM and MES platforms to create a seamless digital thread
  • Enable automation and AI on the digital thread and drive adoption of new tools
  • Develop metrics and feedback loops measuring engineering throughput, process time, simulation coverage and build readiness
  • Drive user adoption and change management for new pre-ops digital capabilities

What we're looking for

  • Systems thinking across digital tools, data models and process flows in the hardware lifecycle
  • Deep empathy for engineers, from prior engineering experience or close collaboration with engineers
  • Technical fluency in CAD, PLM, process simulation and MES platforms
  • Integration mindset for defining APIs, data standards and system architectures
  • Bias for enablement, measuring success by engineer speed and capability gains
  • Comfort in ambiguity, translating complex technical domains into product direction
  • Execution focus, delivering value early and iterating quickly
  • 7+ years designing, developing and implementing CAD, PLM, MES and ERP systems and integrations in complex manufacturing environments
  • Experience with industrial manufacturing processes, including heavy metal fabrication, welding, machining and assembly
  • Expertise in the interplay of engineering and manufacturing processes across CAD, PLM, MES and ERP
  • Product-oriented, outcome-driven approach focused on business winning
  • First-principles thinking rather than vendor or past-employer conventions
  • Excellent business and technical communication skills, written and oral

Nice to have

  • Background in manufacturing, aerospace, AI, robotics or defense environments

Good to know

  • U.S. Person status required for access to export-controlled data
  • Ability to be in-office full time
  • Willingness to travel 25-50% to visit other sites
