UX Designer role supporting the Amgen Design System team, contributing to scalable UI components and patterns across multiple brands. Works within Figma, partnering with engineering to translate design intent into implementation, ensuring consistency, accessibility, and usability across the ecosystem.
What you'll do
- Lead brand onboarding into the Amgen Design System
- Manage roadmaps, timelines, and migration plans across workstreams
- Establish and maintain tracking systems
- Coordinate across UX, engineering, and AEM teams for aligned delivery
- Drive communication and transparency via status updates and stakeholder syncs
- Support governance processes including component intake and approvals
- Facilitate office hours, training sessions, and documentation rollout
- Identify and resolve process gaps and inefficiencies
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and content specialists in India
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment and knowledge sharing
- Support day-to-day operations via sprint planning and task tracking
- Establish workflows for development, testing, deployment, and maintenance in Adobe tools
- Monitor performance metrics and manage A/B testing efforts
- Ensure SEO, accessibility, and compliance guidelines are implemented
- Partner with global marketing, product, and digital technology teams
- Communicate project updates and metrics to global stakeholders across time zones
- Collaborate with offshore/onshore development teams for smooth execution
What we're looking for
- 3+ years in web development, content management, or digital product leadership, including 3 years managerial
- 5-9 years overall experience in related field
- Proven expertise with Adobe Experience Cloud (Assets, Sites, Creative Suite, Content Analytics, Workfront)
- Proficient knowledge of end-to-end content lifecycle and web content management
- Knowledge of cloud-native platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Understanding of AEM as Cloud Service
- Strong proficiency in Figma (components, variants, auto layout, tokens)
- Understanding of frontend technologies (Bootstrap, ReactJS, Handlebars, Angular, CSS3, HTML5)
- Experience working on a team of developers
- Strong understanding of digital compliance, web accessibility, and regulated industry standards
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project delivery skills
Nice to have
- Familiarity with design systems and UX workflows
- Understanding of Figma and brand/variable token structure
- Multi-brand architecture familiarity
- Exposure to AEM and/or enterprise CMS ecosystems
- Understanding of Storybook or frontend component workflows
- Experience supporting distributed/global teams
